Veeranarayana Perumal Temple, Kuruvalapparkoil – The Temple
This is an east facing Temple with five tiered Rajagopuram. The Temple has two corridors (prakarams). The entrance to the inner prakaram is crowned with three tiered Gopuram. Presiding Deity is Veera Narayana Perumal and is east facing. He is about 11 feet tall and in standing posture. He is housed in the sanctum flanked by Sridevi and Bhoodevi. The name of the Lord is the same as the one in Kattumannarkoil, the birthplace of Nathamuni. Utsava Idol is Dwaraka Nathar.  





Mother is called as Maragatha Valli Thaayar. She is housed in a separate shrine. There is a separate south facing shrine where Natha Muni, Alavanthar, Manakkal Nambi and Kurugai Kaavalappan are seen together. There are shrines for Rama, Vishwakasena, Andal, Garudazhwar, Acharyas and Alwars in the Temple premises. Theertham associated with this Temple is Swetha Padma Pushkarini. There is a Madapalli in the temple premises.
