The Temple is located at about 1 Km from Kumbakonam Railway Station and 1 Km from Kumbakonam Bus Stand. Kumbakonam is well-connected by road and rail with the rest of India. The temple is situated on the northern banks of the Mahamagam Tank in Kumbakonam town. There are lot of town and mini buses available for this temple. The bus stop name is Mahamagam Tank or Kumbakonam Head Post Office.
