Chidambareswarar Temple, Nedunkulam, Cuddalore
Chidambareswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to
Lord Shiva located in Nedunkulam Village in Thittagudi Taluk in Cuddalore
District of Tamil Nadu. Presiding Deity is called as Chidambareswarar and
Mother is called as Shivagama Sundari. The Temple is situated on the banks of
Wellington Lake. The Temple is believed to be built in 18th Century
CE.
The Temple
This Temple is facing towards east. Presiding Deity is
called as Chidambareswarar and is facing east. He is housed in the sanctum in
the form of Lingam. Mother is called as Shivagama Sundari. She is housed in a
separate south facing shrine. There are shrines for Vinayaga and Murugan in the
temple premises.

The Temple is located at about 5 Kms from Thittakudi, 5
Kms from Thittakudi Bus Stand, 7 Kms from Avatti, 11 Kms from Veppur, 19 Kms
from Thozhuthur, 20 Kms from Pennadam Railway Station and 105 Kms from Trichy
Airport. The Temple is situated on Thittagudi to Avatti Route.
