Keezhaiyur Twin Temples is a
Hindu Temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Keezhaiyur Village near
Melapalur (Mela Pazhuvur) in Ariyalur Taluk in Ariyalur District. The Temple
complex consists of two temples. The temple in the north is called as Vadavayil
Srikoil (Chozheeswaram or Arunchaleswaram) and the one in the south is
called as Thenvayil Srikoil (Agastheeswaram). The twin temples are
protected monuments under the control of the Archaeological Survey of India.
