Abathsahayeswarar Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located at Rudhragangai Village near Nannilam in Thiruvarur District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is called as Abathsahayeswarar and Mother is called as Parimala Nayagi. Thyagaraja, Jwaharalinga, Murugan with four hands along with Valli & Devasena are the other shrines found in this temple. Sthala Vinayagar of the temple is Acham Theertha Vinayagar. The temple hosts a 5 tier Raja Gopuram.
Theertham of this Temple is Rudhra Ganga Theertham. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old. Bhaskara Muni attained salvation here. The Temple is located about 10 Kms from Nannilam, 2 Kms from Koothanur Saraswathy Temple, 2 Kms from Poonthottam, 5 Kms from Peralam, 22 Kms from Mayiladuthurai, 20 Kms from Thiruvarur and 133 Kms from Trichy.
