Gaur Vellaiyan Falls at, 52 feet (16 m) high, is along the Kilavarai trail between Kilavarai and intersection 11 with Kodaikanal–Munnar Road, 40 kilometers (25 mi) from Kodaikanal. The local language of the region is Tamil and most of the locals cannot converse in any other language. The best time to visit the Gaur Vellaiyan falls is in the months of September to March.
