Thiruchendur Murugan Temple – Theerthams

The   place   where Lord   Muruga worshiped Lord Siva after destructing Surapadma is Thiruchendur. To get relief from sins and diseases, there are 24 Theerthas (Sacred spring baths) here. Their names and the benefits are inscribed on the stone pillars at the seashore. Among them the most famous ones are Vadanarambam and Nazhikinaru.
