Gajendra Varadar Shrine is located on the left side of Vedhavalli Thayar Shrine. He is facing the east direction. Gajendra Varadar Gajendra Varadar is seen seated on Garuda with discus and conch on both right and left hands respectively and is being worshipped as such. This posture is indeed unique. Gajendra Varadar, seated on Garuda ready to rush to the aid of his devotees. He appeared before Saptharoma rishi. Lord Gajendra Varadha appears on Baghwan Garuda praised as Perumal granting Garudaseva forever. Lord Gajendra Varadar Swamy is worshipped, as he had not only rescued the elephant, Gajendra from the jaws of a crocodile but had also given Moksha to Gajendra.
