Selva
Vinayagar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha located at Velachery, well-known locality of Chennai City in Tamil
Nadu. Presiding Deity is called as Selva Vinayagar. The temple is facing east with
two major shrines. The left side shrine is for presiding deity, Selva Vinayagar
and right side for Chidambaram Periya Swamigal.
There
are shrines for Dhakshinamoorthy, Palani Andavar, Bairavar, Durgai and Nava
Siddhars belonging to the respective Navagrahas installed in a row can be found
in the temple premises. There is a basement below the presiding deity. The
temple is under the control of Velachery Chidambaram Periya Swamigal Jeeva
Samadhi Temple.

Koyambedu Bus Terminus and 10 Kms from Chennai Airport. This Temple is situated
on the 100 feet bye pass road at Velachery. All buses to Velachery passes
through this temple. and the temple is between Gurunanak College and Eri Karai Bus
