Chola Vinayagar/Choleesvarar Temple is a Hindu temple located at Mampatti Village in Sivaganga District. The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Ganapathy. This ancient temple comes under the Jurisdiction of 'Sivagangai Samasthanam Devasthanam' which is administered by the Rani of Sivagangai, 'Sahiba Madurantaki Nachiar'.






It is located 43 km North from District headquarters Sivagangai. Other nearby towns are Melur and Tirupathur. It is about 10 km away from Thirukoshtiyur which has one of the 108 Divya Desam temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is well connected to TirupathurMelur and Madurai by private and Tamil Nadu State Transport bus lines.
