Saibaba Temple, Devakottai, Sivaganga

Saibaba Temple, Devakottai, Sivaganga
This temple was built by former Chief justice A R Lakshmanan through his own fund and managed by his brothers. The temple is facing east with an entrance arch on south side. The Saibaba moortham was sculptured from white marble and brought from north India.  A Vinayagar temple is by the side of Saibaba temple. The architecture is of north Indian style. It was told that Sri Saibaba’s miracle Viboothi appears on the plate.




Devakottai is about 20 Kms from Karaikudi and frequent buses are available from Karaikudi. The temple is on Gandhi Road near Lions Club hall. Autos are available from Bus stand. Devakottai is situated on Tiruchirappalli-Rameswaram National Highway Road (NH-210).




The nearest airport is in Madurai, about 92 km away. The nearest railway station is 'Devakottai Road' which comes under the city limit of Karaikudi, about 10 km from Devakottai, from where frequent bus services are available for Devakottai. Regular bus services are available to all important cities of Tamilnadu.
