Uthira Vaidhya Lingeswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Kattur Village in Thiruporur Taluk in Chengalpattu District of Tamil Nadu. Presiding Deity is called as Uthira Vaidhya Lingeswarar and Mother is called as Thaiyal Nayaki. This temple is considered as Parihara Sthalam for Chevvai Dosham. This temple is considered equivalent to Vaitheeswaran Kovil Vaidyanathar Temple. It is said that devotees should visit Vembedu Bhairava Temple situated on nearby hillock first before visiting this temple.

The temple is believed to be built by Cholas and was extensively renovated by Pandyas and Vijayanagara Kings. The temple was reconsecrated on 2004.

This temple is considered as
Chevvai (Angaragan / Planet Mars) Parihara Sthalam and equivalent to Vaitheeswaran
Koil Vaidyanathar Temple. People with Chevvai Dhosha frequent this temple to
get relief from the adverse effects of Mars. Devotees pray to Lord Shiva to get
relief from all type of diseases, to remove obstacles in marriage and to become
rich. Pregnant women worship the Mother Thaiyalnayaki for a safe delivery and a
healthy child.
