Agneeswarar Temple, Thirukkollikkadu – Connectivity
The Temple is located at about 10 Kms from Katchanam, 21
Kms from Thiruvarur, 20 Kms from Thiruthuraipoondi, 5 Kms from Thirunellikkaval,
3 Kms from Thiruthangur, 2 Kms from Vikrapandiyam, 20 Kms from Mannargudi, 11
Kms from Thirukkaravasal and 112 Kms from Trichy. This Shivastalam is located 4
Kms southwest of Thirunellikka Thevara Paadal Petra Sthalam temple after the
Keeralathur village on the main road itself.
There are three bus routes available to reach this
temple. They are;

Bound stands near to Thiruthuraipoondi busses in Tiruvarur Bus Stand.

Take Bus from Thiruvarur to Thiruthuraipoondi and
get down at Katchanam Bus Stop. From Katchanam the Temple is located at about
10 Kms.

From Mannargudi, take buses to Vikrapandiyam. From Vikrapandiyam, the Temple is located at about
2 Kms. Taxis and Autos are available from Vikrapandiyam to reach the Temple.
Please note that the Buses are very less. They are available in the morning
9.30 & evening 4.30 & 5.30.
On the bus route Thiruvarur to Thiruthuraipoondi take diversion
to Thirunellikka, Thengur - Keeralathur and Kollikkadu. Take Town bus (A12)
from Thiruvarur to reach Thirukkollikkadu. The approach road to the temple is
in very poor condition. Nearest Railway Station is located at Tirunellikka and
Nearest Airport is located at Trichy.
