Agastheeswarar Temple is a
Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Killukudi Village in Kilvelur
Taluk in Nagapattinam District of Tamil Nadu. Presiding Deity is called as Agastheeswarar
and Mother is called as Shivagama Sundari. The Temple is considered as Thevara
Vaippu Sthalam as Devaram hymns had a mention about this Temple. The place was
called as Killikudi during ancient times.

Temple
This is a small west facing
Temple. Presiding Deity is called as Agastheeswarar. He is housed in the
sanctum in the form of Lingam and is facing west. Mother is called as Shivagama
Sundari. She is housed in a separate shrine. There are shrines for Lord Murugan
with his consorts Valli & Deivanai, Vinayaga and Bhairavar in the Temple
premises.

from Thiruvarur, 22 Kms from Nagapattinam and 134 Kms from Trichy Airport. The
Temple is situated on Kilvelur to Kachanam Route.
