Kasi Viswanathar Temple, Tenkasi – Connectivity
The
Temple is situated in the heart of Tenkasi Town. Tenkasi is located at about 6
Kms from Courtallam, 11 Kms from Panpoli, 8 Kms from Sengottai, 5 Kms from
Ilanji, 6 Kms from Ayikudi, 34 Kms from Papanasam, 37 Kms from Ambasamudram, 60
Kms from Thirunelveli, 161 Kms from Madurai and 110 Kms from
Thiruvananthapuram. Tenkasi has two bus terminus and a railway station. Daily
trains include the Pothigai Express from Chennai to Shencottah and
two passenger trains, one from Madurai to Shencottah three times per day and the other between Thirunelveli and Shencottah four times per day.

distance buses run by SETC and various private transport corporations are
available from Tenkasi to Chennai, Bengaluru, Kollam, Coimbatore,
Thiruvananthapuram, Puducherry, Guruvayoor, Tirupathi and
other places. KSRTC the Kerala Government Road Transport Corporation also
operate Buses to Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Punalur and other places from New Bus Stand. Omni Buses
also operating to Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore from New Bus Stand. Nearest Airport is located at
Madurai and Thiruvananthapuram.
