Palani Murugan Temple – Bhairavar Temple

Palani Murugan Temple – Bhairavar Temple
The Bairavar temple is at north-west end of the street and faces east. Three barred gates guard this old temple. After the first gate are two Balipeetas. Generally there will be only one Balipeetas for one sanctum. Here three dogs, one leaved spear and Nagas among dense bushes, all can be seen.

Bairavar stands near a dog with four hands and protruding tusks. With all that he does not look fierce.

The rear of Periyanayaki temple is seen even from the middle of the north car street. Residential houses fill the gap.
