Mobile Toilet
Two old buses of this temple have been converted into Mobile Toilets with separation for gents and ladies including necessary Water tanks and Sewage tanks. These mobile toilet buses are driven to various locations according to the necessity during festival seasons for the use of pilgrims at free of cost.
RO Plant System
Latest RO plant has been installed in hill temple with the following specification, 750 LPH, 350 LPH and 1000 LPH R.O System to provide purified hygienic water’s devotees and currently distributed 30 points.
In Elephant path way to the hill temple also 1000 LPH R.O System is installed and quality purified water is distributed to devotees in the 34 water distributed points.
For the devotees visiting Hill Temple, temple has installed two reversible Osmosis systems with the capacity of 700 litres per Hour and 350 litres per Hour and necessary water taps are provided at various locations like Annadhana Mandapam, Queue Lines, Inner and Outer Praharams to provide purified water.
Viboothi Packing Machines
Two Viboothi Prasadham packing machines have been installed at a cost of Rs.5.70 Lakhs; Viboothi is packed in Small paper pouch and being distributed to the devotees visiting the hill temple.
Botanical Gardens
The Devasthanam is maintaining since 1972 botanical gardens around the hill. Eucalyptus, neem, sandalwood, pungam, coconut and mango trees, as also such medicinal herbs as are suggested by the Devasthanam's Siddha Medical Officer, are planted. In Dhandapani Nilayam, ornamental plants are grown. The Nandavanams yield some of the flowers required for temple services. An experienced horticulturist is in charge of all these gardens.
Andavar Library
The Devasthanam maintains a library and reading room in Dhandapani Nilayam for the pilgrims and the general public. It is open from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 4 pm. to 8 p.m. On Government holidays, the library functions only in the morning. Holiday: Saturday. The library has a fairly large collection of books on religion and other subjects in several languages.
Publications
The Devasthanam has realised the need to inculcate religious and moral attitudes in the new generation, even in the formative years of the children. Therefore, they have published in a series of small books, written in suitable style, the stories of saints and seers. Select hymns on Lord Muruga and other Hindu deities, that were so far available only in manuscripts, have been printed.
Hospital Facilities
Since 1972, the Devasthanam has been maintaining an Allopathic Hospital. It is functioning in buildings constructed for the purpose at Karamadai Gardens on the banks of the Shanmuga Nadi. Temple staff and staff of allied institutions are entitled to free treatment. For injections and medicines, the actual cost alone is reimbursed. These concessions are available to their families also. There are three men doctors including an eye specialist; the fourth is a lady doctor attending to maternity and other cases.

Wooden Ramp System in Sanctum
A Wooden Ramp system with SS Queue line is provided at Sannathi to have a free Dharsan of Lord Muruga and entrance door is widened from 3.5 ft to 7 ft facilitating the devotees coming through free entrance, to have a darshan without any hindrance. Air Conditioning facility with capacity of 35 Ton is provided in Mahamandapam area. Surveillance camera arrangement is also been fitted in Sannathi for security purpose.
Anga Prathatchanam
Angaprathatchanam in hill temple is carried out in outer praharam of the temple which is about 450 mts. It is very difficult for the devotees to carry out the Angaprathatchanam in the outer praharam. So, as desire by devotees, the temple authorities decided to allow the devotees to undertake Angaprathatchanam in the inner praharam and it was started on 14.09.2009.
