Aazhi Kandeswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple
dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Thoraipakkam,
well-known suburb in Chennai City in Tamil Nadu. This is small east facing
temple. Presiding Deity is called as Aazhi
Kandeswarar and Mother is called as Akilandeswari. The Temple is
situated besides the Thoraipakkam Sivan Kovil Bus Stop. The Temple is located
at about 500 meters from P.T.C. Quarters Bus Stop, 6 Kms from Taramani Railway
Station, 20 Kms from Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus, 18 Kms from Chennai Central
Railway Station, 18 Kms from Egmore Railway Station and 14 Kms from Chennai
Airport. The Temple is situated off the busiest OMR Road. Nearest Railway
