Agastheeswarar Temple, Sithalapakkam, Chennai
Agastheeswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Sithalapakkam near to Tambaram in Chennai, capital city of Tamilnadu.  This is a small temple probably rebuilt over a ruined temple. There is an old Agasthya Idol in the temple premises. A big Peepal tree with branches quite long extending to all sides and a damaged sculpture of Devi points to existence of a big old temple. There is a tank adjacent to the temple.

The Temple is located at about 100 meters from Sithalapakkam Government School Bus Stop, 4 Kms from Medavakkam, 10 Kms from Tambaram, 12 Kms from Tambaram Railway Station, 13 Kms from Tambaram Bus Stand, 28 Kms from Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus, 30 Kms from Chennai Central Railway Station, 27 Kms from Egmore Railway Station and 19 Kms from Chennai Airport.
