Airavateshwarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Veerakkan Village near Thiruppanandal in Thiruvidaimarudur Taluk in Thanjavur District of Tamil Nadu. The Temple is situated on the banks of Manniyaru River. The Temple belongs to Thiruppanandal Madam.

The Temple

This Temple is facing towards east. The Sanctum Sanctorum consists of Sanctum and Ardha Mandapam. Presiding Deity is called as Airavateshwarar and is facing east. He is housed in the sanctum in the form of Lingam. Idols of Vinayagar and Parvathy can be seen in Ardha Mandapam. Nandi and Balipeedam can be found facing the sanctum. An ancient Lingam and Vinayagar idol can be seen at the entrance of Draupadi temple in this village.

The temple is situated on Kumbakonam to Thiruppanandal route.
