Kanagappa Siddhar Temple,

Kanagappa Siddhar Temple is a Hindu burial shrine dedicated to Kanagappa Siddhar located in Konthagai Village near Thiruppurambiyam in Kumbakonam Taluk in Thanjavur District of Tamil Nadu. This Temple is facing towards east. The temple consists of sanctum, ardha mandapam and maha mandapam. Stucco image of Vinayaga can be seen on top of the maha mandapam at its entrance. The sanctum enshrines a Shiva Linga installed over the Jeeva Samadhi of Kanagappa Siddhar.

85 Kms from Trichy Airport. Thirupurambiyam is situated at about 6 Kms from Puliancheri
towards Kollidam river off the Kumbakonam to Thiruvaiyaru route. Take Bus Nos 6 and 18 from Kumbakonam Bus
Stand to reach Thirupurambiyam.
