statue of Ganapathi is kept inside this shrine, According to Hindu mythology
Ganapathy is considered as son of Lord Shiva. It is the Hindu tradition
that one should first worship Ganapathi before doing any other works. So the
pilgrim should first start their worship right from worshiping Ganapathi
situated south to the Nandhi Mandapam.
