Festivals
Panguni Uthiram is the important
festival in the temple in the month of March-April. Other festivals are
Tirukarthikai in November-December, Aipasi Annabishekam in October-November,
Maha Shivrathri in February-March and Arudhra Abishekam in December-January.

connected via road and rail with major towns and cities in Tamil Nadu.
The East Coast Road (ECR) from Chennai to Kanyakumari connects
