Karivaradharaja Perumal Temple, Perumber Kandikai, Kanchipuram
Karivaradharaja Perumal Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu located at Perumber Kandikai Village in Kanchipuram District. Presiding Deity is Karivaradharaja Perumal and Mother is Ambujavalli. Utsavar of this Temple is Aadhikesava Perumal with Sri Devi and Boo Devi.

This temple is nearly 850 years old. There is also a Sannathi for Rama along with Seetha, Lakshmana and Anjaneyar. The traditional wooden pole to hoist flag (Kodi maram) is also found here.
Devotees of this village had taken efforts, began the reconstruction of this old temple. But due to financial constraints, there is no progress in work, for the past 8 years.
The name of the village itself is very unique, Perum + Peru + Kandigai, meaning that one should be very fortunate in order to take birth in this village. This village is situated approximately 5 Kms from Achirappakkam (a small town in Chennai – Tiruchy national Highway).
It is said that during ancient times, there were nearly 33 temples in this village. As days passed on, most of them got damaged due to various reasons and only a few among them were left.
