Bhoothagireeswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Sirudavur Village in Thiruporur Taluk in Chengalpattu District of Tamil Nadu. Presiding Deity is called as Bhoothagireeswarar / Palvannanathar and Mother is called as Vedavalli / Aaranavalli. The Temple is situated on Thiruporur to Thirukazhukundram route.

History
The Temple is believed to be built in 8th century CE by Pallava Dynasty. The temple received extensive patronage from Rajaraja Chola I, Kulotunga Chola II, Kulotunga Chola III, Vijayaganda Gopala Choda, Veerapandya, Sundara Pandya, Raja Narayana Sambuvarayar and Vijayanagara Kingdom. The inscriptions of the Kings talk about gifts, grants and renovations carried out in this temple.
