Goldsmith’s Street, Tharangampadi, Nagapattinam
Goldsmith’s
Street is one of the major streets located in Tharangampadi Town that tell a
story of the old days of Tranquebar. Take a leisure walk in this street to
witness the Tamil Buildings during colonial era all through the way. Goldsmith’s
Street gives the feeling to the visitors that they are in 17th
Century Danish Town. The predominant Danish streetscape did not wipe out the
prevalent Tamil streetscape, as is evident from the houses on Goldsmith Street.
