Adhinathar Jain Temple, Salukkai, Thiruvannamalai
Adhinathar Jain Temple is a Jain Temple dedicated to Jain Thirthankar Adhinathar located at Salukkai Village in Thiruvannamalai District of Tamilnadu. It was referred as Veera Kerala Perum Palli during 11th Century AD through an inscription found near the Temple.





The Temple
A new temple structure was built upon the ancient basement. This Jinalaya is east facing has north entrance gate and a pathway. A guest house is also inside the complex. A square structure is also attached with the old sanctum has vimana on the top. Inside the Sanctum nearly 5 feet high, Shri Adhinathar granite statue is established over the plinth. 





The previous Moolavar statues are also placed in a shelter on the back of the temple corridor. A simple single stage Vimanam is crowned over the sanctum with shikhara and a Kalasha on the peak. At the Griva circle below the Nasi, sitting postured Jinars were exhibit around the four directions. 





Few alloy idols Thirthankar, 24 Jinars mould, mini Ashtamangal set are placed in front of the Moolavar. Total vedi-block is secured well by iron grill gates.





Festivals
Regular poojas and rituals are conducted at the appropriate time. All Jain festivals are celebrated on the relevant dates.
