Srivaikundam
is in the Tirunelveli-Thiruchendur railway route on the Northern banks of
Tamirabarani and the temple is about 3 kms from the station. It is about 30 kms
from Tirunelveli, from where frequent bus services are available. Adequate
bus-services are available from Tirunelveli / Thiruchendur.
Buses
are available from Tirunelveli bus stand to Srivaikundam. The temple is about
30 kms from Tirunelveli. Alternatively if one wants to cover all the Nava
Tirupathis, they can even hire a taxi directly from Tirunelveli or can travel
by bus till Srivaikundam and then hire a taxi or auto from there for remaining
temples.
Srivaikundam
railway station is situated on the Tirunelveli-Thiruchendur line. All passenger
trains from Tirunelveli stop at this station. The temple is about 1.5 miles
from the railway station. From Madras, one can take Kanyakumari Exp (445am
arrival), Anantapuri Exp (730am arrival) or Nellai Exp (850am arrival).
