Jambugeswarar Temple, Voyalur, Kanchipuram
Jambugeswarar
Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located at Voyalur village near
Kalpakkam town in Kanchipuram district of Tamilnadu. In the recent December
2015 floods, the linga was drawn up here in Palar water. The youngsters of the
village have housed the Lord in a temporary shed now on the bank of the river
itself and the temple construction is going on by the side. It is located on
the ECR road just at the start of the Palar Bridge. Voyalur is located just
before the big Palar Bridge, 4 kms away from Kalpakkam.
