Dharmeswarar Temple, Dharmaneedhi, Vellore
Dharmeswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord
Shiva located in Dharmaneedhi Village near Kaveripakkam in Vellore District of
Tamilnadu. There are temples worshipped by Pancha Pandavas around this
area. The name of the place has been obtained from ‘Dharmar’ (Yudhistra). He
has stayed in this place along with his brothers (Pandavas). This Shiva temple
was said to have worshipped by Dharmar. Presiding
Deity is called as Dharmeswarar and is facing east. Mother is called as Dharmasamvardhini
and is facing South.
